A Poem For Rudi

Here’s a poem for Rudi G who’s been all but forgotten
Amid the daily chaos brought on by Trump toads as rotten
And by the Chosen One who never shuts up and sits down
If he can grab attention away from another clown
Like Cruz or Gaetz or Greene or Boebert or Jim Jordan who
Keeps investigating things about which he can’t find one clue.

Poor Rudi once held center stage as Trump’s main go-to guy

The lawyer Trump called most upon to campaign lies apply

But his black goo fiasco and his lawn and garden stop

Made Trump turn to other toads to tout for him non-stop

And Rudy kind of faded away in the public’s eye

As bankruptcy, disbarment, and exile all stopped by.

For years now Rudi G has in daily news ceased to be

Able to receive attention no matter what he

Says or does because what that is has gone unreported

And so for years he’s crept hidden away like some contorted

Creepy ghoul within in his dark apartment in New York

Waiting to be called again to be Trump’s last resort.

But word now comes that Rudi may in the news again be

Briefly appear one last time if he’s not allowed to see

Another case or client when total disbarment’s call

Increases the role bankruptcy plays in his sad downfall

From once being America’s Mayor to where he got

Himself through goo lies lawn supplies and Trump Toad service shot.
