Climate change could disappear in Florida real soon
Because that state intends to legislate it to its doom
Republican lawmakers there with Ronnie’s blessings will
Vote to make it as illegal as a moonshine still
Apparently they’re sure what they demand weather does will
By law end rising temperatures that the Sunshine State grill.

Given the entire state’s a few feet higher than

Sea level makes you wonder how lawmakers there can plan

To pass legislation guaranteeing climate change

Won’t cover the state with water as coastlines rearrange

Do they think they like Moses can command sea water’s height

And by law stop a process that won’t leave dry land in sight?

Republicans in general and MAGAs especially

Believe their power of God-given ideology  

Lets them command air land and sea including oceans to 

Do exactly what they tell Mother Nature to do

That belief would be dumb enough in a land-locked state

But in Florida it’s really too dumb to contemplate!!!
