Republicans consider they alone under the sun

Were granted the God-given right to do and get away

With what the Democrats now do to send help on its way

To millions out of work who cannot afford to pay rent

Instead of those Republicans helped, the top one percent.

McConnell’s slamming Democrats for mechanisms slick

That when others but he alone uses them makes him sick

He is indignant Democrats would use the very means

That he depended on to take tax-cutting to extremes

But since he’s now minority he’s lost his former clout

To force back in its bottle the Genie of turn-about.

What goes around has come around to bite him in the ass

As Democrats now do what he once did to break impasse

He and his hypocrite party of rich smug white whack-jobs

Are finding it ever harder to be arrogant snobs

Because two Georgia Senate race wins that removed Mick’s crown

Allow the mechanisms he aimed up to now aim down.
