And again spins internet mockery into high gear
That brings those like him dumb enough to earn memes little cheer.

Ted first said that the trip he took was to protect each daughter

But his wife’s emails have that excuse led off to the slaughter

Who knows what lie he’ll lob out next about his Cancun trip

Which as a gift that keeps on giving makes the meme world rip?

Ted’s night in paradise he tries to justify with lies

Will have a shelf-life longer than the chump may realize

Because now in the lie mix two more chumps have stepped right up

To compete with him to win the dumb lie meme trophy cup.

Along with Ted Matt Gaetz and Donny Jr. now compete

To come up with the most cringe-worthy lie on Twitter street

Which one will top the others as lie winner won’t be clear

Until memes mocking each are tallied through the coming year.

The good news is comic relief has again reared its head

Above the fray that day by day under Trump we did dread

So while that liar waits off stage to once again emerge

Let’s enjoy for an interval a lighter form of scourge.
