“No-Guns” Betsy

Three cheers for “No-Guns” Betsy! She’s a master at pretending
That her Department’s goal is to be schoolchildren defending
“No guns” in her school safety study was a master stroke
It made MY NRA friends cheer and “gun control” nuts croak
ALL KNOW she is the one I chose to be Chief Educator
And now she’s also become MY chief gun perpetuater.

The gun goal she is helping ME perpetuate so wide
Is endorsed by the NRA to stem gun “control” tide
The goal’s removing guns from every school study’s equation
To prove in every “massacre” there was NO CORRELATION
The killers could have just as easily used knives instead
Or blunt objects and just as many kids would wind up dead.

So well done, “No-Guns” Betsy, I applaud your fine example
Of focusing on what’s important in your study sample
It is brilliant to ensure guns in studies play no role
It clears the way for hiding the root cause of each death toll
The NRA and Winchester and Smith and Wesson too
Are standing by to tout your findings once your study’s through.
