Just Pretending?

The Madman Theory theorizes a fake madman could
Win against all enemies by acting mad real good
And thus completely frighting all foes opposed to him
By pretending to be mad - something he’d never been
This worked for Machiavelli and Nixon tried it too
But what if instead of pretending one was mad clear through?

A-Hole fights opponents through random intimidation

Without consist behavior entering the equation

Is it because he’s applying the Madman Theory well

Or has his brain’s ability to think gone straight to Hell?

Given the clowns he’s been proposing for his cabinet

He may not be pretending but as mad as he can get.

His speech patterns and inability to stay on track

Have fallen off completely and they won’t be coming back

His inability to address questions with clear answers

Introduce more twists and spins than the best ballet dancers

His constant boasting about passing a cognition test

That a gorilla also passed indicates whose brain’s best.

The concept of a plan he has to dominate the globe

Might include the Madman Theory to enemies goad

Which might work if he were not a madman to begin

With and was only pretending to fake madness spin

But if he’s really as mad as his actions indicate

Fears the theory could create are many times as great. 

Republicans justify ass-kissing worship by saying

Four-dimensional chess is the game Dear Leader’s playing

But evidence he has no clue about what he is doing

Is a lot clearer than evidence he’s cleverly screwing

American democracy he’s intent on upending

By being the real madman theory has him just pretending.
