Doing Great

Republicans say even though they’re losing left and right
It’s not a sign their party should become a bit up tight
They say although what policies they have do not equate
With anything most voters want their party’s doing great
They’re sure they’ll roll to victory when next elections come
Because they’ve stacked state decks with cards blessed by the Chosen One.

Republicans (in name only, they’re MAGA’s party now)

Say their latest string of losses does in no way cow

Them into changing any policy plan they've been brewing

Despite long strings of losses indicating it’s them screwing

They’re sure wheels they’ve set in motion at the state level will

Suppress enough votes to what’s left of democracy kill.

Republicans know there’s no legal way they’ll ever win

Any race again unless fair voting they do in

And so so what if a few minor setbacks they’ve encountered?

The Chosen One’s wink and nod assures them they’ve been empowered

To do whatever it takes to ensure they dominate

America by scraping majority rule off its plate.

Republicans say the latest in their long string of losses

Won’t matter once in history’s dustbin Dear Leader tosses

Voting rights and voting itself and forevermore

Rules tyrannically unchallenged by a vote count score

Some state votes they’ve suppressed but for the clear majority

Of those who hate their guts suppression won’t as easy be.
