No Go

Now that McCarthy has been booted from House speakership
A few extreme Republicans are on a fever trip
To get Dear Leader nominated as number one choice
For Speakership which would make MAGA cult members rejoice
Surprisingly it is legal to nominate him so
But then he’d have to work so to the job he would say no.

Republicans are in awkward spot to say the least

Slouching towards Washington is the chaotic beast

They have released by dealing to McCarthy his death blow

Without a Plan B, C, D, E, or any plan to show

Except this fantasy to into speakership Trump dump

And that job’s a no-go ‘cause he’d have to get off his rump.

As President Trump did not do one lick of work at all

Except driving carts around after hitting a golf ball

And spending hours getting made up each day to appear

Healthier than a pasty bald old man with fat rear

Golf games makeup and midnight rages took up all his time

Both then and now so a job that takes work we will decline.

Also besides speakership making Trump have to work

What makes the job a no-go from the start’s a legal quirk

Imposed by the Republicans which thanks to them belay

Their efforts to appoint him Speaker if not thrown away

And that’s their law that makes indicted felons step aside

If potential jail time of two years or more’s applied.

And 91 indictment upon felon Trump reside

So if convicted on any charge his jail time would slide

Well past two years, in fact he faces an eternity

Of prison time in a cell for which they’d throw out the key

So right now it’s illegal for Trump to the Speaker be

Plus since he’d have to work as Speaker he it we won’t see.
