Never Ending

The coup has never ended, its last attempt was to try
To by electing Jordan put in place the kind of guy
Who’d set the stage for Trump to walk back in the White House door
And get a second chance to shit as he had shat before
Upon the Constitution and the freedoms it conveyed

Before four years of tyranny brought Hell our nation paid.

The coup that still continues made Republicans agree

That Jordan as House speaker would have made it be easy

To pave the way for Trump’s return to power one more time

To democracy and truth actively undermine

As he did for four long years before he claimed foes snuffed

His landslide win with fake fraud votes in ballot boxes stuffed.

The never ending coup is licking wounds and biding time

Before its next attempt to bring Dear Leader back online

And return him to power once it’s finally set in place

Its next ass-kissing toad selected to hurry the pace

Towards the goal on which it has been focused since the start:

Empowering a tyrant to tear out our country’s heart.
