No Worries

Apparently Republicans are worried as can be
That Trump demands they focus on his fraud vote history
And if nit he’s telling their voters that they should not vote
Which makes candidates’ winning chances very remote
But Really? Come On! They’ve stacked the deck so high in their favor
It’s hard to imagine future elections they won’t savor!

Consider gerrymandering by which each red state’s camp

Reassembles districts to make their guy the vote champ

By linking tiny voting pockets scattered through their states

Into giant white voting blocks and by so seal the fates

Of black and brown voting districts they’ve scattered to the wind

By claiming it’s to get fraud votes invented by them thinned.

And the voter suppression laws state legislatures pass

To put in place the means by which they’ll kick Democrat ass

Include no mail-in ballots or water for those in line

As just the tip of the iceberg ensuring they’ll do fine

In upcoming elections which will not be free and fair

Because they have restricted them to voter’s rights impair.

And then there is intimidation angry as can be

Which to threatened Republicans comes very naturally

And helps them believe their white god placed them upon this earth

To lord it over all other races of much less worth

So to put down those worthless races threats they’ve now begun

As prelude to putting them down using a loaded gun.

So although Trump is telling fine white voters not to vote

And Republicans worry that that may be all she wrote

Their pretend worried faces hide the fact they smugly know

They’ve set the stage to take the country way back to Jim Crow

And not through acts behind the scenes but blatant as can be

So ‘though reports say they’re worried why the hell should they be?
