Self-Sabotage

There is a psychological state in sick human brains
That makes self-sabotage the goal of their final end games
By doing things no normal person would consider smart
Because they all hold self-destruction closest to their heart
And thus the things sick brains make people do are far from sound
And not the kind of things in normal people to be found.

To those with working brains it’s clear Trump’s is truly insane

But even cult members might question instructions made plain

Urging them not to vote if the top priority

For the Republican party is not Me Me Me Me

And telling his cult not to vote is not high on the list

Of things a very stable genius tends to insist.

Perhaps like all Republicans he knows they’ll cook his goose

If free and fair elections under GOP abuse

In all upcoming races somehow get re-instituted

Despite all they have done to make sure every one’s polluted

And therefore in anticipation Trump’s brain says “Don’t Vote!”

As its way to self-sabotage should loss grow less remote.

Or maybe it thinks votes even in polluted elections

Can’t guarantee wins as well as violent coup insurrections

So why waste time preparing to vote once elections come

When locked and loaded cult members can just vote with a gun?

And even if they try again and still do not succeed

Self-sabotage at least gains more rage on which it can feed.
