Republican intimidation tactics will gain steam
As desperately they try to thwart probes into what words mean
On January 6 when they called pleading for their life
To Trump watching TV elated about riot strife

And what they said in days before his riot hit full swing

Because truth about them helping to plan it’s sure to sting.

They claim they have the right to withhold everything they said
Before and during insurrection because they so dread

Phone records will reveal involvement in treasonous acts

And so intimidation is the choice of their attacks

To stop the spread of what the probe they fear’s bound to find out

About their role in turning free election roundabout.

11 of the usual wing nut suspects have sent

A letter telling telecom CEOs to get bent

Too bad they sent one to one who four years ago resigned 

But that’s the kind of lack of homework to which they’re inclined

The 10 remaining CEOs did their dumb letter spurn

Because they’ve no authority to the probe’s tables turn.

So when phone records are released wing nuts will still deny

That they expose the roles they played to help their chosen guy

Plan his obvious insurrection all watched on TV

So desperately they gaslight as tourists who happily

Visited the Capitol to spread love all around

No matter what phone conversations by the probe are found.
