Weird Gift

Kristi Noem is as weird as governors can be
But her weird gift to Trump tops all weirdness through history
Because she could not get Mount Rushmore which is in her state
To add Trump to the pantheon of rock-carved truly great
She had a little model cast in bronze to satisfy
The monumental ego of the narcissistic guy.

She got two pro-Trump sculptors to agree to prostitute

Themselves by adding Trump’s smug mug in tie and business suit

To a bronze model she gave him when he showed up in town

Demanding fireworks that could have brought Mt. Rushmore down

A model that has now been revealed for what it is worth

Of bloated baby-faced Trump perched high up on stony berth.

If her model caused controversy for gross disrespect

That is not something about which Noem has brains to reflect

She gifted it as tribute to ego big as can be

From comparable ego of a female wannabe

Who’s competing with Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott too

To be the biggest wannabe of the wannabe crew.

Noem as a wannabe Trump is just one of many

Convinced in Trump they’ve found a rock on which to build rock-steady

And he deserves to be carved into Rushmore for all time

And so they gaslight constantly to make us forget slime

They know a model won’t for long make him respect their butts

So still hope into Rushmore chisels his baby face cuts.

All those who have seen the weird gift have eyes that can’t forget

How stupid baby Trump looks gaping up there neck to neck

With presidents who did stuff for the country as a whole

Instead of using the office to up their net worth’s toll

So if a wannabe wins Trump’s fat face may soon glare down

From high atop Mt. Rushmore larger than all with the clown.
