Ego Circus

Where once the circus came to rest between its big top seasons
The ego circus came to fan white hot Trump’s big lie reasons
Why he should still be president and will be soon again
Because nothing he’s ever done warrants time in the pen.

To his adoring rain-soaked cult he gave a three-ring show
In the inclement weather he rained on them lies they know

Lies they have heard ad nauseam that them don’t nauseate

Because Trump’s conned so completely they’re convinced he’s great.

Just like the rain Trump’s lies rained down upon their rain-soaked heads

To soak in arrogant belief in witch hunting by Feds

And reassure them that his company did nothing wrong

Because only dumb firms pay taxes his dodged all along.

The rain fell down in buckets and lies fell in buckets too

To drench cult members welcoming all lies soaking them through

So on the ego circus goes, awash in constant lies

That do not wash away no matter how hard heaven cries.
