The Politics Of Bigotry

The politics of bigotry are what Republicans

Are taking up as the key to enact their master plan

To recapture the House and Senate and Presidency

And make each one as bigoted and white as it can be.

Down at state level their plan is gaining solid ground

With Georgia the first state of many to new rules expound

That make it harder for those there to cast a single vote

If they’re born white and have silver spoons shoved down their throat.

The rationale behind their plan is a lie plain to see:

They claim that surging migrants come to threaten whites gravely

Fear of hometown invasion is again on the front burners

Of GOP liars who know poor whites aren’t the best learners.

Upon their migrant lie their master plan they’ve firmly based

As in red state after red state democracy’s erased

As state laws are enacted that make bigotry prevail

While white men gloat and black women are carted off to jail.

The end game is upon us if the Democrats don’t act

To sweep history’s filibuster out as dustbin scrap

And overturn white bigot laws pretending they protect

From surging migrants GOP lawmakers’ minds project.
