Purged Parties

The great Republican purge party now well underway
Means every anti-Trumper’d better leave without delay
There’s no room at state party levels for the likes of those

Who are not loyal to Dear Leader and do so disclose

Soon nothing but the Purged Party of Trumpers will remain

And once it’s purity’s established it should change its name.

Why call itself Republican when its pure party plan

Does not remotely resemble the party Abe began?

The party against slavery that fought the Civil War

Would be appalled at how today’s Republicans deplore

And actively work to throw legal voting way off course

Except those votes for those Dear Leader does alone endorse.

So purge away, Republicans, but do not be surprised

When your purging creates a party that’s not supersized

Because the nation’s population change in coming years

Far surpasses your purging pace propelled by your white fears

Your purging may for now keep white supremacy alive

But paces of change indicate Purged Parties won’t long thrive.
