The GOP’s in love with loonies as shown beyond doubt

By being appalled by Trump’s riot for one week about

Before reverting to form by demanding we move on 

While giving a break to the poor guy who did nothing wrong.

It’s clear thereby what the future holds for the GOP

If they keep on accepting whack-job nuts like Marjorie

Who will be one of many whack-jobs called out in these poems

Because there are so many who are wannabe Trump clones.

A bullet in Pelosi’s brain is her proposed solution

For increasing the pace of Democracy’s dissolution

She demands it’s her right to pack heat as a basic perk

As does her buddy Boebert so they may make that plan work.

And then there’s Cruz, Hawley, Gaetz, Jordan, Louie Ghomert too

And other whack-job Republicans in the looney crew

Who won’t convict Dear Leader for the second time around

They have circled their wagons to together stand their ground.

This poem takes back what it said of the party’s future trend

Their trend in place for years has now gone way around the bend

Whatever decency Republicans once could have had

They’ve traded for Glock-toting whack-jobs certified stark mad.
