So much for “mantle taking”, I blame ALL the DEMONcrats
For closing down the “government” just like a bunch of rats
It’s FAKE NEWS!!! that I EVER said the “mantle” I would take
I don’t care what you think you heard or say you saw on “tape”
This is a DEMONcrat SHUTDOWN!!! as plain as plain can be
There is no way for it I’ll take “responsibility”.

Why should I care if 800,000 go without pay?
BELIEVE ME they’ll BLAME DEMONcrats when Christmas comes their way
Their kids WILL ask “Why aren’t there presents underneath the tree?”
And they will point at DEMONcrats!!! They WILL NOT point at ME!!!
ALL those without paychecks at year’s end WILL rise up in arms
Against the EVIL DEMONcrats they’ll sound angry alarms.

I’d like to stick around to see them lynch some DEMONcrats
But I’m due down at Mar-a-Lago far removed from spats
Relaxing in the sun and playing 18 holes a day
And getting golden goodies from kids who NEVER lose pay
Too bad, so sad, but NOT MY FAULT thousands WILL be “furloughed”
