Daily Quota

During times of Great crisis it’s so important to
NOT spread “False Information”, that’s a job ME, NOT you
If everyone told lies like I do at the rate I lie
I’d soon have no lies left to keep MY lie count soaring high.

AS ALL KNOW lies are limited and there’s now few around
Because I’ve used the lion’s share since I arrived in town
When others spread ‘False Information” there’s less left for ME
So I declare ALL lies left MINE by official decree.

I lie actively every hour when I am awake
And set MY lying autopilot so sleep lies still make
If fewer lies are left for ME and I miss quotas daily
MY lies may soon come around as rarely as comet Halley.

So shut up, people, “hurricanes” are NOT your time to lie
It’s MY job to their “death count” numbers angrily deny
To meet MY daily lying quota your lies I MUST quell
Spread NO “False Information”, ALL lies left are MINE to tell.
