Clear-Cut Solution

“Wild” fires are caused by “environmental” laws

AS ALL KNOW fires need dry wood and therefore wood has flaws

Diverting water to the ocean is bad law enough

But letting trees keep right on growing is why thing get tough

Those idiots out there “protected” trees they loved to hug

Now raging fires wipe tree-hugging smiles off their mug.

I don’t know why they passed laws to divert ALL of their water

Right into the Pacific Ocean where sharks wait to slaughter

That by itself was bad enough but what was 10 times worse

Was letting trees grow when in fact they should do the reverse

If they”d allowed MY logging friends to clear-cut all their trees

There would now be no fires out there burning as they please.

And what a waste! Just think of the vast profits loggers score

ALL laws preventing clear-cutting make ME so very sore

Those Californian trees are now all burning to the ground

And not one penny of profit in one burnt tree is found

If they’d allowed MY logging industry to their trees slay

There would not be one single tree out there to burn today.

It’s too late to prevent the tragedy that has unfolded

To MY dear logging industry, but brand new laws I’ve molded

To prevent future wild fires raging day and night

MY laws will require ALL “woods” to be cut down on sight

Once “woods” are gone and profits soar fires will have no “fuel”
Thus ONLY I ALONE will end dumb “mother nature’s” rule.
