North Korea’s NOT a threat, opioid use is down
And the so-called “Islamic State” is nowhere to be found
My WALL blocking MY southern border practically is done
And that’s Tremendous because last week we’d barely begun
The world I live in in MY head makes perfect sense to ME
Who cares if it may crash headlong into “reality”?

MY mind, they say, has come untethered from things most think “real”
But every “thought” it thinks for ME holds for ME Great appeal
Including each new lie I tell to make the FAKE NEWS dance
“Fact checkers” try to keep up but they haven’t got a chance
That’s because lying’s second nature, it’s the way I am
And now a move to alternate reality I’ve planned.

I won’t care if MY “credibility” comes under fire
Once I move into MY, like, mind and comfortably retire
Removed from ALL “reality” except the one that counts
The one that ONLY I ALONE accept and don’t renounce
Wherein there dwells Hyperbole and rage at those I scorn
And six or eight or seven steel plants run by unicorn.
