Piddled Away

“Liberals” have raised a billion dollars against ME
That paltry sum is chicken feed as We Rich ALL AGREE
We write checks for that much each time we buy a new golf club
And golf courses to use it on where black players we snub.

They have accumulated it in tiny increments
Republicans like ME just laugh because we own the mints
Their average donation is only 34 small bucks
You don’t have to be Rich like ME to know that amount sucks.

They’ve raised that dough for candidates Republicans oppose
One word from ME against them and they’ll take it on the nose
Their billion won't buy them one WIN when November comes ‘round
The candidates who I endorse will stomp theirs to the ground.

MY candidates don’t need money, one word from ME’s enough
To make them win hands down even if Democrats play rough
Our gerrymandering and vote suppression soon will pay
Combined with Russian interference votes will flow our way.

They say small-dollar donors are funding “the resistance”
That no one thought could be “sustained” but now “very much is”
BALONEY, ALL Republicans know we’ll WIN in the fall
That money will not buy a thing once I to voters call.

So dream on, you poor Democrats, a “liberal” CAN’T WIN
Once MY White Base assembles and MY vote rallies begin
You will piddle away your puny billion rapidly
While ALL MY choices get elected ALL because of ME.
