Death Toll

Ok, I got the numbers wrong, there weren’t just 64
I was just off two thousand nine hundred eleven more
AS ALL KNOW I do NOT do numbers, those cooking books do
I learned when young the number of account books you need’s two
Then you don’t need to count as money piles to the sky
You pay to keep accountants mouths shut as bucks multiply.

And so I got that hurricane “death toll” wrong, but who cares?
They have PLENTY of Pour-Toe-Reek-Cans still making repairs
The paper towels I tossed to them worked so Tremendously
All pictures of that place show it’s as dry as it can be
So if they’ve found a few more bodies while blotting the mess
You can’t blame ME, I don’t do numbers, it was MY best guess.

I have so very many more important things to do
Than worrying about what their final “death toll” comes to
Hurricanes KILL people, that’s just what they do, OK?
Especially in sh*tholes that from ME are far away
If I was off a couple thousand it is no big deal
They’re Pour-Toe-Reek-Cans, after all, why should I for THEM feel?
