Ingrates

Those stupid ingrate farmers aren’t grateful to ME at all!
They say they do not want MY handouts and Tariffs must fall
I offered them 12 Billion Bucks!!, that is NOT chicken feed
But they say they would rather keep their “foreign trade links” freed
I calmed things down in Europe but for them that’s not enough
I guess to calm THEM down I’ll have to play a little rough.

Ok, you farmers, listen up!! I SAY TARIFFS ARE GOOD!!!
Go back to digging dirt and just BELIEVE ME like you should
You are the backbone of MY Base, the heart of MY Great land
But NEVER EVER question the Great Trade Wars I have planned
Or before long your family farm I will force you to fold
Because I can as “President”, or so I have been told.

You farmers are a whining bunch of ingrates one and all
You do not believe what I say, you do not heed MY call
I’ve ordered you to BE PATIENT, that’s not asking too much
But you’ve now questioned MY Tariffs so it’s time to get tough
Just take the money and shut up and get the Hell on board
Or I will authorize ConAgra to your farms absorb.
