Devastatated

I hate “separating” kids, as I’ve related
Both ME and Melania are devastated
Ivanka is weeping and KellyAnne’s crying
And every Republican Congressman’s sighing.

But our hands are tied, Democrats made the law
That we MUST obey ‘though it sticks in our craw
We’d love keeping entire families together
But what can we do? Democrats hold the tether.

The Dems are responsible for this fiasco
Their hatred for children is hot as tobacco
Republicans love kids no matter what color
Their sweet faces make our hearts melt like warm butter.

But a law is a law and we can’t go agin’ it
We’re ready to change it in a New York minute
The answer is obvious to ALL around
Kick every damned Democrat right out of town.

Elect ALL Republicans left, right, and center
Vote early and often, turn out in all weather
In every election soon coming your way
Choose only Republicans to make Dems pay.

Hold them accountable for child hate
Remove them from “office” and we’ll make things Great
We won’t “separate” any parent from kid
Whole families together from our land we’ll rid.
