BFFs Forever

The Little Rocket Man and I are BFFs FOREVER!
Our meeting went extremely well, it was a Great endeavor
We shook hands for 13 whole seconds, we could not be parted
We are now soulmates in the new “world order” we have started
What I began in “Canada” will melt the “past” like snow
With Rocket Man by MY side now it is “on with the show”.

I have no idea what he said or what there I accomplished
But the “optics” are all that counts and those can’t be admonished
“D1” and “D2” hit it off , our joy was seen by ALL
We stepped up to the plate and hit the cover off the ball
We went “Mano a Mano”, neither was the first to flinch
And I was so “prepared” I swung at his very first pitch.

Korean “words” look funny and I don’t know what they say
Whatever that thing was I signed I’m sure will be OK
Little Rocket Man assured ME it was a good deal
So I stepped up and swung MY GREAT BIG PEN his deal to seal
What happens once that deal goes through does not matter to ME
The bottom line is we’re now BFFs eternally.

“Diplomacy” is easy as long as you are “prepared”
There is no need to “read” or “think”, there’s no need to be “scared”
As Deal-Maker Supreme I trust MY GUT in all I do
And at our “meeting” MY GUT told ME ME he would not screw
He got exactly what he wanted: “parity” with ME
And as for all that I “accomplished” we’ll just have to see.
