Not As Planned

 MY ***!!!PARADE!!!*** should have been ***!!!GLORIOUS!!!*** !!! It should have been ***!!!GRAND!!!***
It should have been the ***!!!MOST BIGLY BEST PARADE!!!*** ever planned!!!
It should have ***!!!RAISED SUCH A HIGH BAR!!!*** none over it could soar
In ***!!!GLORIFYING!!!*** the ***!!!COMMANDER!!!*** who chiefly makes ***!!!WAR!!!**!!!
It should have been the ***!!!MODEL!!!*** on which all others are made!!!
And NOT as it’s now been called “a sad little tank parade”!!!

MY ***!!!PARADE!!!*** I “envisioned” as the one all “history”

Would “remember” as the ***!!!GREATEST EVER TOTALLY!!! 

No other would compare with it despite how hard they tried

To stage a “better”one to sweep MY ***!!!GREAT PARADE!!!*** aside!!!

Instead of “a sad little tank parade” it should have been

The ***!!!PARADE!!!*** that made future “parades” take it on the chin!!!

It was NOT “threats” of ***!!!THUNDERSTORMS!!!*** that kept MY ***!!!CULT!!!*** away

From filling both sides of MY ***!!!PARADE ROUTE!!!*** on MY ***!!!BIRTHDAY!!!***!!!

It was those ***!!! “NO KINGS” PROTESTERS!!!*** who on the same day met

***!!!EVERYWHERE!!!*** to their “displeasure” with MY ***!!!KINGSHIP!!!*** vet

MY ***!!!CULTISTS!!!*** would have come in ***!!!MANY MILLIONS MORE!!!*** than came

But trying to get past their home town ***!!!PROTESTS!!!*** proved in vain!!!

Only 10,000 got past home town ***!!!PROTESTS!!!*** to appear

And most of them got so bored they left early so I hear

I guess that I “believe” they did because I got bored too

After the first 10 minutes with two hours left to stew

Angrily on center stage about the no-show mess

That made MY ***!!!PARADE!!!*** NOT as planned to MY ***EGO!!!** impress!!!

It wasn’t “weather” that depopulated MY ***!!!PARADE!!!***

It was ***!!!MILLIONS OF PROTESTERS!!!*** who ***!!!MY DAY!!!*** dared invade!

Plus dumb “generals” “disgusted” with MY “exploitation” goal

To “commandeer” “their” army’s birthday as MY ***!!!EGO’S!!!*** toll!

But next year I’ll have no need to throw MY army a bone!

MY ***!!!80th BIRTHDAY PARADE!!!*** will be ALL MINE ALONE!!!
