Broken Promise Patterns

A-Hole has promised under him no wars will ever be
And he’ll end any threat of there being a World War III
Which sounds real good in theory but in practice not so hot
Given the belligerence from him we’ve lately got
Concerning Canada, Panama, and cold Greenland too
Each a country or territory he’s threatened to screw.

Canada he wants to turn into state 51

Panama’s canal ownership he wants made undone

And Greenland? Who the Hell knows why he’s once again obsessing

Over the U.S. that land of ice and snow possessing?

But if he wants his no wars promise to not fall apart

Threatening invasion of three countries isn’t smart.

There’s really not much promise he’ll his no wars promise keep

Because no promise he has ever made lasted a week

Before he began to back from it rapidly away

By saying it is really hard to do as he did say

Or making other promises in hopes we’ll all forget

Past things he promised to do not one of which he’s done yet.

Given broken promise patterns we’d best hunker down

In bunkers if we have them before three wars come around

When Canada and Panama and Greenland all object

To A-Hole’s pompous bluster to their sovereignty protect

From dangerous asinine threats wannabe tyrants make

To from one place after another independence take.
