The Last Guardrail

Hard as it is to accept deceived voters will soon send
A-Hole back to the White House to make our country bend
It’s knee to the demented ego in his dying brain
And endure at least two years of tyrannical pain
Before the next election cycle rebuilds some guardrails
Which it could do unless by then normal government fails.

Once A-Hole’s in his trolls will begin working overtime

To make what’s left of democratic government decline

Thus make dictatorship the only pathway on which we

With fear and dread are forced to tread to the same destiny

All other empires on Earth met in their end state mode

Before America became the latest to implode.

One single guardrail could prolong the time our empire’s got

Before our final curtain’s drawn across our parting shot

And that guardrail’s the stock market which for more than 10 years

Has climbed up ever higher thus alleviating fears

Of cyclical recession that is now long overdue

Because 10 years is longer than past markets remained blue.

Despite six bankruptcies and selling cheap crap buyers panned

A-Hole claims success in every business venture planned 

But the successful businessman he claims he’s always been

Will be seen to be a lie if he makes rallies dim

And dim they will once tariffs hit and immigration’s fate

Ag business and low paying job workforces decimate.

A-Hole can’t afford to see the market’s rally end

During his reign so he’ll do what it takes to it defend

Thus keeping truly successful businessmen billionaires

Applauding him instead of casting at him angry glares

If paper fortunes start declining so the last guardrail

Left standing will be the stock market once all others fail.
