When he becomes the President Trump promises he’ll keep
Every campaign promise made by him to MAGA sheep
Like pardoning all loyal insurrectionists wholesale
And letting coastlines be where oil drilling rigs prevail
And rounding up all immigrants and locking them away
Before shipping them out or casting them in Hitler’s play.

When Trump come January into the White House is swept

His policy will be “Promises Made Promises Kept”

At least that’s what he’s promising his promise then will be

So if he keeps his promises those promises we’ll see

But every promise he has made one right after the other

Have as yet unknown impacts that could tear MAGA asunder.

How will his promise to deport all immigrants play out

When business owners find no one to hire left about?

How can the tourist industries in coastline states survive

When oil spills close beaches to which customers now drive?

And what will rural poor in deep red southern states start thinking

When support they depend on like Medicaid begins shrinking?

What will the impacts be for each new promise Trump has made

If unlike his past promises keeping them does pervade

His second term in office whereas during that before

No campaign promise he made made it fully out the door?

Although Trump foes have cause to be as worried as can be
