Think Or Brink?

If you’re a loyal Trump cultist Dear Leader’s all that counts
So for the Chosen One you’re spending copious amounts
Of your time and life savings buying his copious crap
Be it cheesy sneakers, worthless coins, or lies that wrap
The flag around dictatorship your vote block will create
If undecideds join you to democracy negate.

If you’re a hopeful Harris fan to remain sane all polls

You’d best ignore because the media’s set its own goals

Are to keep the race razor thin by touting close poll claims

To gain lion’s share viewership by pulling tight the reins

Of what all networks want to keep a cliffhanger event

To ever higher advertising revenue foment.

If you’re still undecided about who you’re voting for

It’s very hard to believe your existence any more 

Given how crystal clear and diametrically opposed

Each party has its position to all voters exposed

But if you really do exist then at least try to think

About your country before pushing it over the brink.
