That’s what a poll (Republican!) says is now the belief
Being held deep down in the depths of Texas’ heart
And if it’s true that state may finally be through with the fart
Who once upon a time in DC a long time ago
Wielded some power before he off to Cancun did go.

Ted Cancun Cruz deserves to lose not just due to his fear

Of hurricanes but because as another horse's rear

In the Senate he’s owned by billionaires who pay to keep

Their oligarchy dominant by controlling the creep

And others like him on the right side of the Senate’s aisle

Who support tax breaks that let their rich friends live in style.

Ted Cancun Cruz will have more time to take storm escape trips

To sunny Mexican resorts if his opponent strips

Him of the seat he’s occupied more fully every day

Since filling it because to dessert he’s never said nay

Just like he's never said nay to orders from rich friends who

Are getting nervous that his “buy by” date is coming due.
