Another Texas politician took another trip
Away from his state just before a hurricane did rip
The place apart and took electricity away from
Millions in Houston who aren’t very happy with the scum
Who choose traipsing around in Asia very far away
And so abandoned Texas to go where he’d be OK.

Another Texas politician just like Cancun Cruz

So dumb he didn’t think that he had anything to lose

By leaving his state suffering while on travel he went

Away from where he should have stayed to help and thus prevent

The anger Texans now feel towards his cowardly ass

That left them behind to endure and resent him en masse.

Cancun Cruz and Asia Abbot deserve every meme

Angry Texans have been posting to the on-line scene

Here’s hoping this time their anger will also be expressed

The next time Cruz and Abbott try to once again be blessed

With another term by promising when storms again

Return they (cross their hearts and hope to die) will home remain.
