To learn that billionaires got richer once Trump made the call
To favor his filthy rich friends while throwing few crumbs to
The kind of people billionaires want nothing with to do
Because unlike them the Chosen One does not have their back
Because donation checks they write him many zeros lack.

I am not shocked, not shocked I tell you, not shocked once again

With what Republicans when holding Congress with a pen

Do to screw each one of us who never will get rich

Because we don’t have wealthy friends to tax breaks to us pitch

So billionaires get richer while poor people fade away

And Trump just promised his rich friends that’s how he’ll make things stay.

I am not shocked, not shocked I tell you, nor shocked should you be

That 2017 will go down in greed’s history

As the tipping point that allowed billionaires to double

Obscene wealth accumulated without any trouble

Because when you give huge tax breaks to billionaires you find

Very little money left for poor people behind.

I am not shocked, not shocked I tell you, not shocked to yet find

That when greed’s in the driver’s seat it leaves all those behind

Whose mouths weren’t born with silver spoons that allowed them to say

They their wealth through inheritance earned the old fashioned way

Nor am I shocked, not shocked I tell you, that Trump still does boast

That after he’s elected billionaires’ taxes are toast.
