Would trickle down on workers as so many times before
They’d promised but this time for sure higher wages would pour
Down provided tax cuts first let more fortune ascend
Because on primed pumps up above does trickle down depend.
As predicted by economists Trump’s huge tax cut
Made money trickle one way only no if and or but
And that direction was straight up into the money pit
Of the top 10% who held on to all of it
They never have allowed one cent to trickle down below
So why be shocked, shocked I ask you, with where greed makes cash flow?
