Want Want Not Want Don’t Want Wants

Republicans want what they want until they don’t and then
They say they do not want it until they want it again
Back and forth they go changing their mind on every issue
Then forth and back again in constant mind-changing jujutsu

They never commit to wants they may then want not to do

Because they’re unsure wants they want or don’t want may them screw.

And so they demand southern borders be made more secure

Then vote against security funding which would injure

The most important talking point they’ll be stressing non-stop

In upcoming elections to on Biden get the drop

“Our borders remain insecure!!!” they’ll scream “Because Dem scum

Want to pass bills we want but want not yet to get begun!!!”

And because some cannot get every demand they make met

Republican infighting acts to Ukraine’s detriment

Some want to fight Russia, others like Trump to Putin bow

And no one in the party knows how to make all kowtow

To one side or the other in the Ukraine funding fight

So they bicker internally about which side is right.

And because they’ve alienated women everywhere

With their anti-abortion stance they say they do not care

If any female ever votes for their party again

For male Julios and Jamals wait right around the bend

To vote for them so they no longer need the Karen vote

Until November when again on women’s votes they’ll dote.

And so it goes: Republicans have no consistent clue

About what they want but then don’t want but then again do

Back and forth their want want not want don’t want wants go on

As deciding what they don’t want flips wants hither and yon

Democrats can simply propose bills and settle back

And watch GOP minds conduct want don’t want self-attack.
