It doesn’t take a high school diploma or GED
To turn yourself into a carpetbagger when you see
That if you don’t you’re headed for a resounding defeat
In the district that hates you so beat a fast retreat
And travel from the mountains to the plains in hopes that you
 An keep poisoning Congress with your pro-Trump witch’s brew.

It doesn’t take much primary schooling to understand

That the job you were hired for was not one done by hand

And that groping and vaping around kids is a no-no

If you want to keep staging your congressional shit show

So rather than face voters in the district you’ve disgusted

You head out for a new one in hopes you’re not there yet busted.

It doesn’t take much cognition to know you'd soon be screwed

If in the district you now represent you had pursued

Another attempt to run where your vote count’s so declined

From your first to your second election it’s now defined

What the law of diminishing returns is all about

For bimbos who in public let their libidos hang out.

It doesn’t take a working brain to be a carpetbagger

It just takes enough smarts to see you’ll be the vote count lagger

If you pursue your third election attempt in the place

Where voters know that’s not egg white on your hands and your face

So off you ride from your district to one far distant where

You hope they don’t know you’re handy in theaters or don’t care.
