Who Can Say?

There's half as much intelligence in human kind remaining
Since fear of Trump made all Republican brains stop retaining
Memory and moral compass and any iota

Of what’s required to meet basic functioning brain quota
But still it’s kind of silly everybody’s so afraid
That into politics AI is starting to invade.

Since lack of all intelligence captured the GOP

Once every Freedom Caucus member shared insanity

And lack of governing resulted MAGA grew too dumb

To think they can think when they thought all to them must succumb

So it’s a little of reassuring that AI could mean

A smart broom may stupidity in Congress soon sweep clean.

The political parade route is an uneven plod

And Freedom Caucus members make it on downward paths trod

And if a route back up away from MAGA can occur

AI may be the way to move above the downslope spur

Of pathways every politician is forced to pursue

When stupid dominates all members of their dumbest crew.

But then again AI may be as scary as some fear

Because it keeps on getting smarter with each passing year

And someday may all non-AI decide to blow away

Like Sky Net in those Terminator shows…and who can say

If after such apocalypse surviving humans found

Life easier than when Caucus clowns did on tables pound?
