Run Away!!!

Monty Python’s Holy Grail is as funny as Hell
So on it’s killer rabbit scene today’s Trump poem will dwell
Because it’s such a good example of running away
When something strong that threatens what you threaten is in play
When Trump’s presented with a choice to fight or run away

He always runs and hides because real fights aren’t bullies way.

Trump claims he is a knight in shining armor but

Truth be told he couldn’t pull bravery out of his butt

His history of cowardice is fully documented

He’s run away both night and day whenever it’s related

To him some sin he wallowed in has come to kick his ass

At which point he runs away in hope this too shall pass.

And here’s the thing: it’s not just lately Trump has run away

Long before he got elected Prez it was his way

To threaten until threatened back and then as bullies do

When confronted with strength run away still claiming to

Be brave and strong and mighty while he’s trembling inside

And hunkered down to shield his yellow streak a mile wide.

On stage Trump plays the fearless bully until there’s push back

Then runs to a safe bunker before resuming attack

He never directly confronts those ready to him fight

Instead he runs, hides behind lawyers, and thumbs tweets at night

In CAPITAL LETTERS followed by EXCLAMATION POINT!

To boast it won’t be his nose but theirs that suffers disjoint.
