But don’t expect them to comment on Virginia retaining
Its Democratic House and flipping its Senate to blue
After Younkin tried so hard to abortion unscrew
From GOP core policy that voters clearly saw
As camouflage for telling women they could eat it raw.
Kentucky’s Democratic governor is still in charge
And votes that won his second term in numbers very large
Came from the state where Turtleman has called its Senate shot
For decades past but votes amassed forecast its future not
As red as it had been before anti-abortion came
To flush Republican anti-abortion down the drain.
How many defeats it will take we’ll have to wait and see
Before Republicans know that their central policy
Does not play in Peoria or any other place
Where trying to disguise it smears egg all over their face?
