Republicans are fighting but not against Dems lately
Instead they’re taking cheap shots at themselves internally
If they were still in elementary school teachers would say
It's time to take a time out if you cannot nicely play
But they aren’t kids in school, they grown adults up on the Hill
Elected to do more than fight each other with a will.

Republicans are fighting, MAGAs have lined up against

More less right-wing conservatives stuck sitting on the fence

Who have let MAGAs dominate the playing field each day

And scream defiance at them when they try to make a play

By rules that used to be respected before Trump descended

His golden escalator and good governing upended.

Republicans are fighting, pulling hair out at the roots

And flipping one another angry one-finger salutes

Because they have been split by a dictator wannabe

Into two factions that cannot with each other agree

Each half sees the other half as the whole reason why

Their once united party is now fighting to not die.

Republicans are fighting, more “Days of Chaos” we’ll see

As push elbows the kidneys of our poor democracy

MAGAs see conservatives as dumb old school buffoons 

Conservatives see MAGAs as Trump cultist loony toons

Democrats can just sit back, relax, and pour a drink

And watch infighting take GOP factions to death’s brink.
