A named attorney for an as yet unnamed whistleblower
Has claimed that Arkansas has achieved a new level lower
On the corruption scale than what the state has been known for
The usual chicanery therein’s now a bit more.
Has claimed that Arkansas has achieved a new level lower
On the corruption scale than what the state has been known for
The usual chicanery therein’s now a bit more.
Not that much cash was involved this time but that’s not the point
Altered, withheld public records are what’s out of joint
About a speaker’s lectern Huckabee’s office bought so
She could in style bloviate at those the salt below.
$19,000 seems a bit much for a state to pay
For a lectern but what's worse is that state hid away
The paperwork that proved the fancy purchase did occur
After records were altered to prove less spent for sure.
To alter public records is a no-no every time
And when combined with withholding amounts to corrupt crime
So says the whistleblower who as yet remains unnamed
As the unnamed’s named attorney has to the press explained.
This brouhaha about a lectern’s just the latest blip
In the parade of corrupt practice Arkansas’ let slip
Since Huckabee became it’s latest governor to use
Corruption as a means to office privileges abuse.
