Here We Go Again

Stupid is as stupid does so here we go again
With another PR stunt the toddler has-been

Apparently believed would win for him a PR prize
From his cult of armed lunatics but did not realize
That if he’d bought the Glock he seemed to desire so madly
He’d be breaking the same law that screwed Hunter Biden badly.

It’s illegal for those indicted to try to buy guns

More so for those with four indictments because they’re such scums

But that clear illegality did not deter one bit

Trump nor his PR idiots who thought it a great hit

To publicize that Dear Leader had bought a Glock until

Someone told them how illegal that act fit the bill.

And so the tweet was taken down and his spokesman took back

Trump’s gun purchase he’d just announced and took another tact

By saying Trump had only wanted to that Glock obtain

But did not do so because that would be law breaking plain

And so yet one more PR fiasco must be suppressed

By very stupid PR people with whom Trump’s been blessed.

Under normal circumstances the end of this tale

About Trump shopping for a gun would find his ass in jail

But although photo evidence of his purchase is seen

In boastful tweets broadcast by (who else?) stupid Margie Greene

They’ll let the scofflaw once again for clear lawbreaking slide

Which each new time it happens gets much harder to abide.
