Loud Silence

That Donald Trump’s a traitor is as plain as it can be
To anyone who has more than a second grade degree
Which excludes most of his fine white cult where it’s understood
Global warming’s hooey and vaccines are no damn good
So his cult gets a pass because they’ve not got brains to see
The kind of traitor Trump is due to their stupidity.

But although some in Congress are also gut-wrenching dumb

Like gun-cheerleader Boebert who’s as stupid as they come

Supposedly a lot of those ensconced safe on the Hill

Have of college and law and medical degrees their fill

Intelligence shines out upon the Democratic's Hill side

But it’s hard to see on the side Republicans abide.

If the GOP is really as smart as their degrees claim

Why do they remain silent about Trump’s treason so plain

When asking Putin to dig up on Hunter Biden dirt

When he’s so busy getting his army in Ukraine hurt?

Republicans rose as one to support the Ukraine’s side

But Trump’s ongoing Putin bromance they’ve again let slide. 

Apparently whatever Trump does with them’s still OK

Because again they’ve done nothing to give treason less sway

The theory was they kissed Trump’s ass because they were so scared

That being in endorsed by Dear Leader can’t be repaired

So if they did not toe the line and approve all he did

He would ensure they won no future reelection bid.

But it appears Trump’s influence on their election fate

Ha rapidly diminished or so it’s been said of late

And if that’s true then why do those on the GOP side

Remain silent about the treasonous act just applied

By Trump?…Perhaps when their jobs fell from re-endorsement favor

The world’s richest man’s bankroll became reelection’s savior?
