The other day something happened in Russia that may more
Than anything help topple Putin and end his non-war
It should have got more coverage in media reports
Because it denies to Russians major U.S. imports
How better to make Putin stop Ukrainian attacks

Than to from hungry Russians deny their daily Big Macs?

850 McDonald’s across the Russian nation

Closed their stores removing fries and shakes from the equation

Of what everyday Russians eat but worse for them by far

Is they can no longer order Big Macs while in their car

Or at counters where they heard “May I take your order please?”

Big Mac denial anger could bring Russia to its knees.

In ancient Rome not only circuses held things together

It also took daily bread rations to make things seem better

And Putin’s three-ring war circus can’t by itself alone

Despite censored news spins stop people from picking a bone

With him if Big Mac lack makes tummies not feel very fine

But Russians are not idiots so what this poem portrays

Is fantasy - war can’t be ended through Big Mac malaise

There is no way Big Mac denial has enough impact

On a tyrant psychopath to end his war attack
