Accountability

To date Trump’s always managed every time to get away
From being held accountable in any major way
For anything he’s done or said no matter how overt
It shoves some rule of law deep down into corruption’s dirt

Like paying hardly any taxes because he’s so smart
And inflating land values to get banks with loans to part.

Accountability avoidance many years has led

To thinking he’s invincible in his genius head

And that no matter what he does he’ll always get away

Without accountability for all he’ll do or say

And so he’s smugly continued breaking rule of law laws

Assuming at the worst he’ll get slapped on his tiny paws.

But now from three directions rules of law are closing in

To hold his ass accountable for past wages of sin

In tax avoidance, money laundering, and treason too

And smugness shielding him before no longer’s coming through

Instead he’s lashing out at prosecutors left and right

To prepare his cult to defend him in each coming fight.

Trump maybe finally realizes accountability

This time precludes normal paths of escapability

And so by lashing out much more desperately than before

He can incite his armed cult to prepare for coming war

In three cities that just happen coincidently

To be where prosecutors seek accountability.

It must be hard for one convinced as smugly as Trump was

To find accountability’s not just for common scuz

But this time finally’s catching up or so his fears project

Unless armed cultists are incited to serve and protect

His ongoing ability to defy rules of law

With hot lead telling prosecutors to go eat it raw.
