Fake Fraud

If you can’t prove election fraud despite how hard you try
And thus have nothing to back up Dear Leader’s great big lie
And know without such proof demanded by The Chosen One
Instead of complimenting you he’ll think you’re less than scum
You’ll have to find another way for him to you applaud
And that is why Republicans are redefining “fraud”.

The faux fake fraud votes you can’t find no matter where you’ve looked

If not replaced by something else will make your goose well cooked

And your goose cooked by Donald Trump you won’t find to your taste

So it becomes imperative to act with extreme haste

To make acts seen as examples of human decency

Declared illegal to pave fake fraud’s path to victory. 

And so to make it illegal to offer those in line

Bottles of water on hot days your new laws redefine

As vote “fraud” efforts to prevent heat stroke among those who

You’ve forced to stand in line for hours to vote against you

Because you’ve so severely restricted places to vote

By also restricting mail-in ballots sent in by rote.

By transforming normal activities into fake fraud

You hope you’ll get Dear Leader to for you again applaud

For ways you’ve found to stop your power slip sliding away

By turning Good Samaritan acts on Election Day

From decent human behavior into your fake fraud sin

Because only by it alone can you still hope to win.
