Trump’s doing everything he can to gain another go
At replacing democracy with fascism’s hate show
Republicans setting the stage for him in each red state
Lick their lips in anticipation it will be the fate
Of the nation once called a shining city on a hill
To achieve the goal Hitler’s Nazis tried hard to fulfill.

The end of the experiment founding fathers began

To treat all people equal will soon be an also ran

Because the stage set by state toadies terrified of Trump

Will pave the way for tyranny to democracy dump

Along with decency and rule of law that once maintained

One nation under a god other than the one they’ve claimed.

Trump’s comeback will keep looming larger every passing day

Human decency and rule of law no longer sway

All those who say it’s their right to remain unvaccinated

And wait with loaded guns for call to arms anticipated

While at all levels equal voting rights are driven under

By corrupt politicians stacking decks to increase plunder.

And when Trump’s arranged comeback comes the writing’s on the wall

That unlike his first wall fiasco his fear wall won’t fall

Because behind The Chosen One as his rule he revamps

Will be millions willing to concentrate his foes in camps

Because they’re convinced with their conman’s comeback they are saving

America’s freedoms by everyone not them enslaving.
