Ron DeSantis yesterday was happy to announce
He has a brand new surgeon general who’s ready to pounce
On COVID vaccine remedies he believes are a crock
And to support the wing-nut theories that so many mock
Within the ranks of doctors most think are legitimate
Except by those like Ron’s new guy who thinks vaccines are shit.

Because DeSantis is convinced that COVID is a plot

He’s named as S.G. one with whom real science has no shot

Because he denies statistics somehow still getting through

To document how wing-nuts like him state residents screw

With his governor’s blessing he’ll dispute all that’s said

By real doctors trying so hard to make less people dead.

Now that Ron’s new S.G.’s been tapped the whole state will soon see

Horse dewormer and light sources handed out for free

Bleach stands replacing lemonade stands will provide the dose

The S.G. recommends to keep COVID from getting close

And to stop dreaded ‘demon sperm’ empregnating the state

Hydroxychloriquine will soon again participate.

It used to be to Florida for vacation you’d come

To expose pallid naked skin to health-inducing sun

But now if you go to its beaches be prepared to be

Also exposed to COVID thanks to Ron and his S.G.

Together they’ll work tirelessly to ensure you stay

Until you’re lying six feet under their state’s sandy clay.
