Kind Of Funny

I hope you don’t think this poem’s too insensitive to trust
For being happy that another one just bit the dust
This one spurned vaccines and played Queen’s song when AIDS victims died
And so deserves to have at least some mockery applied
The fifth conservative radio host and who knows if last
To bite the dust before the final covid die is cast?

This latest guy to die was such an anti-vaccine lout

Instead of shedding tears one’s inclined to laugh and toss out

A joke or two about another one biting the dust

And about a learning curve those with no brains don’t trust

But thoughts about the deaths they cause to themselves and their flock

Sobers one up quick after initially you mock.

Five down but who knows how many more on-air still shout loud

Thereby cutting life short for their radio cult crowd

Who accept without questioning anti-vax stuff they say

And thus increase their chance covid will carry them away

So ‘though it’s kind of funny five to date all bit the dust

It’s sad so many remain their doomed listeners still trust.
